Recently my 10 year-old nephew was going to give me directions back to his home. At each corner along the way home he told me which way to turn. After a few minutes I realized that I was being misdirected. Though his intentions had appeared noble and good, he was leading me astray. He did an excellent job! I responded to his directions and soon found that I was not only going in circles, but I was now further from his home than I had been when we started!
In our lives there always is a way that seems easy for us to follow, but we often end up in the wrong place surrounded by hurt and pain, but there is hope!
Regardless of who we are or what we've done, God deals with all of us in the same way.
We try to find acceptance in many ways. But there is nothing we can do to receive God's acceptance.
