Recently my 10 year-old nephew was going to give me directions back to his home. At each corner along the way home he told me which way to turn. After a few minutes I realized that I was being misdirected. Though his intentions had appeared noble and good, he was leading me astray. He did an excellent job! I responded to his directions and soon found that I was not only going in circles, but I was now further from his home than I had been when we started!
In our lives there always is a way that seems easy for us to follow, but we often end up in the wrong place surrounded by hurt and pain, but there is hope!

Regardless of who we are or what we've done, God deals with all of us in the same way. God does not show favoritism. Evil, pain, and suffering have filled the lives of people all through time. Everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.
We try to find acceptance in many ways. But there is nothing we can do to receive God's acceptance. You get what is coming to you when you sin. It is death! But God's free gift is life that lasts forever. It is given to us by Jesus Christ. In other words, If you belong to Christ Jesus, you won't be punished. That's great news! So—how do you belong to Jesus Christ? The Bible tells us how: If you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved from the punishment of sin. When we believe in our hearts, we are made right with God.
These teachings from the Bible present us all hope for the future. This isn't just how to survive, it's how to live forever in heaven! This is all as easy as ABC: Accept your need of help. Believe Jesus is here to help us. Confess your sins and your need for someone to help you. Investigate these claims. Discover new life and the hope of living forever. Call or email us if you have any questions, if you'd like some help with this, or if you just need someone to talk to.
